W. Bradley Electric delivered a comprehensive campus-wide fiber optic backbone system for Santa Rosa Junior College, installing a fully redundant fiber ring to support high-speed connectivity across multiple academic and support buildings. The project included the installation of 288-strand singlemode fiber optic cabling routed through existing underground duct banks, manholes, and handholes, forming both east and west loop pathways originating and terminating at the campus data center.

The system was designed with multiple splice points throughout the campus, where additional 12-, 24-, 48-, and 72-strand fiber cables were branched to individual buildings. WBE performed extensive fusion splicing, installed fiber distribution units (FDUs) at each building, and provided new splice enclosures and innerduct infrastructure to support long-term system reliability and expansion.

As part of the project, WBE also completed data center fiber buildout, including the installation of multiple fiber enclosures to support diverse routing and redundant clockwise and counterclockwise loop configurations. The result is a highly resilient, scalable network infrastructure capable of supporting current campus operations and future growth.
