UC Davis 48X

W. Bradley Electric’s Telecom and Audio Visual Divisions delivered the complete low-voltage and AV infrastructure for the UC Davis 48X Project, supporting critical healthcare, communications, and collaboration systems throughout the facility.

The Telecom scope included Category 6A structured cabling for data, life safety, and security systems, along with a fiber optic backbone connecting the MDF, 12 IDF rooms, 17 OR Integration Rooms, and OSP pathways. Additional systems included sound masking, public address speakers, nurse call, clock systems, DAS (ERRCS and cellular), security cameras, and intercom systems. WBE also provided fiber and copper testing/certification, seismic bracing, BIM coordination, system commissioning, and overall telecom project management while maintaining an accelerated construction schedule.

WBE’s Audio Visual Division installed and tested AV systems including PA and Qmatic displays and speakers, CATV infrastructure, and full AV systems for internal conference rooms. Working closely with Telecom, the AV team coordinated speaker rough-ins and completed final system integration, delivering a seamless and fully integrated healthcare technology environment.
