PG&E engaged W. Bradley Electric to upgrade the aircraft warning lighting system atop their 77 Beale Street headquarters, a 35-story high-rise in San Francisco. Although the existing incandescent lights were operational, they were triggering error signals at the control panel, prompting a full system replacement.
As part of the upgrade, three mid-point LED beacon lights were added halfway up the 70-foot rooftop tower in preparation for an upcoming repainting project. WBE removed the existing fixtures, reinstalled conduit, feeders, and control wiring, and installed a new, energy-efficient LED lighting system. The upgraded system is now remotely monitored by PG&E’s command center in Fairfield, CA, ensuring enhanced reliability and compliance with FAA safety regulations.
