WBE’s Traffic Signal & Street Lighting division completed the Curtola Park & Ride Hub for SolTrans. This project featured solar power infrastructure, electric vehicle charging stations, security cameras, LED lighting, a new ticket sales office, vending kiosk, and traffic signals. Other improvements included added parking spaces, security enhancements and new casual carpool/restroom area. The transit center was expanded to serve more than 500 daily commuters with a a connection to Amtrak. Passenger waiting areas were also included with weather protection, fencing to limit unauthorized access, and new site furniture. New landscaping finalized the project “to enhance the visual image of this main gateway into the city of Vallejo.”
