Since 1986 WBE Telcom has been one of the largest voice and data cabling contractors in northern California. WBE has completed single-building, high-rise, and campus projects for clients in the industrial, financial, insurance, biotech, data center, and software/high tech industries. In 2008, WBE Telcom obtained Elite status as a Commscope Business Partner, a distinction given only to the top providers in the industry.
Most Recently, WBE Telcom formed National Telecommunication Integrators, a consortium of nationwide telecommunications cabling infrastructure companies that serve corporations throughout the United States and Canada by providing the necessary project management, labor and materials for national roll outs, new construction, outside plant, network infrastructure, and tenant improvement projects.

Outside Plant Specialization
WBE Telcom has seventeen years of experience in providing outside plant services to our clients for corporate campuses and municipalities (public rights of ways) in Northern California. The projects completed include the installation of all forms of outside plant copper and fiber optic cabling including terminations, splicing, boring, trenching, conduit banks, vaults, MPOE's, traffic and pedestrian control, etc.
The creation of WBE’s Traffic Signal/Street Lighting division in 2003 has added a whole new dynamic to WBE Telcom’s outside plant capabilities to include an electrical and laborer workforce, traffic control and pedestrian management, heavy equipment operation, boring, trenching, and saw cutting.

Campus for Jewish Life

In Palo Alto, our telcom crew has completed the new Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life. The Campus for Jewish Life is an 8.6 acre campus.There are 10 buildings on campus comprised of 193 apartment units, community areas, indoor and outdoor pools.Our telcom crew was very busy on the project – working on the 10 MDFs, three MPOEs, two computer rooms, and 29 IDFs throughout the campus. In August of 2011, WBE Telcom began a 3 month project at 45 Fremont which included bringing voice and data to a total of 713 workstations scattered throughout 3 floors. A Commscope solution, in which WBE Telcom Technicians installed Category 5e Cabling along with Systimax 360, part of the next generation of solutions platform from Commscope. This new patching system offers best-in-class performance and supports 10Gb/s and 1Gb/s ethernet applications. |

Kaiser Permanente Bay Area Operations Facility

Our team of technicians recently completed a project at one of Kaiser Permanente Bay Operations Facilities. The first phase of this install was a Systimax VisiPatch 360 Solution Platform MPO to MPO single mode 72 strand laser speed fiber, and included 30 CPI Equipment Racks & 46 Eaton Right Line Cabinets.
